Focus group meetings at St-Hyacinthe

During November 17 and 18, our team visited the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Université de Montreal at St-Hyacinthe (QC). Professors and veterinarians from the ambulatory clinic shared their concepts and ideas about dairy cow longevity and how it could be monitored with the help of new technologies in order to help producers make optimal management decisions regarding profitability.  These focus groups are part of the first stage of a pilot project that aims to test the performance of a prototype management support software recently developed by the Dairy Information Systems lab at McGill Macdonald Campus.  Thanks to all the participants and especially to Anne-Marie Bélanger for her help organizing these meetings.
